Sherri Peterson, Marathon’s Director of Customer Service, thought she was on a routine assignment to oversee a Marathon booth during the tradeshow at the recent PhotoPro Expo in Kentucky. It wasn’t until she heard PPN PresidentDavid Ziser call her name to come to the podium to receive a “Special Presidential Award” that she realized that this was the real reason Marathon had sent her to Kentucky!
The award reads: “PhotoPro Expo 2012 Special Presidential Award for Outstanding Service to PPN, With Grateful Appreciation, David Ziser, President PPN.” Sherri learned that she was being honored for the PPN organizational and promotional efforts she supervised at Marathon and that these “extra mile” efforts had resulted in convention numbers being up dramatically, which would not have happened without Marathon’s involvement and Sherri’s supervisions.
