Drawing inspiration from the lack of anything more than a blurry cell phone picture of her late childhood dog, Holly, Gina embarked on a mission to create captivating portraits and art of dogs and horses for owners to cherish for years to come. In her 4 short years since picking up her first camera and teaching herself photography from Youtube, Gina has since become Maine’s only internationally award winning and published dog and pet photographer who exclusively photographs and specializes in pets. This, in combination with her prior years of work in the veterinary world, has led to a pet photography experience that ensures the dog and pet’s absolute happiness while creating captivating portraits and art. This attention to detail has also led to Gina’s work gaining international recognition with over 75+ international awards and publications to date.
Gina is a native-born Mainer who still resides just outside of Portland, Maine with her two rescue Pitties. While not a full-time photographer, she is a full time practicing PA-C with a specialty in minimally invasive hip and knee replacement. In her down time when not doing pet portrait sessions, she can be found regularly exploring the great Maine outdoors with her dogs.
