Hayward Gaude has been involved with photography since the mid 1970’s. His foundational professional experience came in the late 1980’s through the 1990’s when he worked in the feature and commercial film business while living in New Orleans. Working on camera crews gave him the priceless opportunity to learn from top of the line industry professionals about the ins and outs of how to properly expose and light for film.
He and his wife Shannon had a bit of a ‘forced relocation’ to San Antonio as a result of hurricane Katrina In 2009 they decided to begin a portrait studio together specializing in family, child and high school senior photography.
Hayward has earned his Certified Professional Photographer degree and has served as President of the San Antonio PPA guild in 2020. Hayward teaches photography to beginners via his YouTube channel as well as continuing to tell families stories with beautiful portraits.
