I started photography for my high school yearbook, etc. I took art and photography classes in junior college and college where I bought my first strobes. There were no lighting technique classes available so I had to teach myself. I opened my studio in 1983 and shot mostly commercial projects.
Portraits have been our bread and butter and boudoir is a big passion of mine. I have photographed thousands of women over the last 40 years, with nine specifically for Playboy. In 1990, we moved into what is our current studio location, a 13,000 sq ft stone church built in 1871.
