Morning Optimism

Morning Optimism

“The moment when you first wake up in the morning is the most wonderful of the twenty-four hours.
No matter how weary or dreary you may feel, you possess the certainty that,
during the day that lies before you, absolutely anything may happen.
And the fact that it practically always doesn’t, matters not a jot. The possibility is always there.”
Monica Baldwin

I ran across this quote and just wanted to share it because it’s the way my life unfolds every day.

Nothing I could add to it would make it any better except to remind everybody of the industry we’re in. With the exception of modern medicine, I don’t believe any career field has given the world more.

So, if you’re in a rut and just not happy in what you’re doing, step back and remember how you fell in love with photography in the first place. Take your camera and just go out and shoot for the day, photographing whatever hooked you in the beginning.

Great photographers need to have their heart in the game – you can’t create images that tug at people’s heartstrings if your own heart isn’t in it!
