With the newly designed Dual-core Apple A5X powering the new iPad, photographers can become a lot more mobile. Adobe Photoshop presently is available for the iPad 2, but it’s limited to 5 x 5 inch output. With a display resolution of 2048×1536 on the New iPad, it won’t be long until Photoshop for iPad is comparable to the desktop edition.

Another great feature is the 5-megapixel iSight camera. Having a camera this size on board definitely paves the way for camera attachments, such as those currently available for the iPhone 4S offered by Olloclip. Being able to take pictures with the new iPad, then retouch the images with Photoshop, provides a mobile solution that in some circumstances eliminates the need for a desktop computer.

The new iPad includes the speedy 4G LTE which will allow small business owners to do business outside the studio. A company called Square Up offers an attachment to the new iPad that allows credit/debit card processing. Weighing only 1.4 pounds, it’s an ideal solution for your mobile business, especially with the New iPad’s advertised battery life of 10 hours.

The New iPad’s pricing scheme makes it very affordable to small business. It costs $499 for the Wi-Fi-only 16GB version; $599 for 32GB; and $699 for 64GB. For 4G, it’s $629 for 16GB; $729 for 32GB; and $829 for the 64GB version.

With the introduction of the New iPad, tech savvy business owners have many new options to increase productivity while wowing customers in the process.

How will you use the New iPad?
