It’s the day after Christmas and everyone has hopefully survived the Xmas holiday! There’s one last thing you can do to add a little extra profit to end the year. Sell your sample prints that are more than a year old.
Contact the customers you have had samples of that are just starting to age or have been displayed long enough that it’s time for something fresh. You can personally call the customer and let them know you are getting ready to order some new samples and they can purchase what you have for $XX.
After that start gathering images that you would like to create new samples of. From wall portraits to albums, what you show is what you sell. And every year the labs run a special on sample prints and albums.
Also, consider selling the digital files from sessions more than 5 years old. That’s another profit generator and a good way to free up some of your hard drives. So get a head start on 2025 without having to do a session!
